Do I Trigger or Not?

Went in for my u/s this morning and there were several follicles on both ovaries.  She measured about 5 of them but one definitely stood out....the biggest hubby and I had seen on an u/s screen.  I asked her how big and she said it was 19mm.  Didn't ask about the other thinking, well this is the one!  Anyway, she also did bloodwork to check my LH level and told me my RE's ofc would contact me prob this afternoon.  I was really shocked when my RE actually was the one that called me around 10:30 a.m. (we did the u/s at 8:00 a.m. here in my hometown and he is 2 hours away).  He said "wow, we've got one big follicle" so I was glad to hear the positive feedback from him (I seem so lost in this process w/ unanswered questions).  My bloodwork did not show any lh surge, which I could have told them that as I never pick up the surge that early.  It usually comes around day 14-16. He said I could do the hcg shot or wait for the lh surge to be detected on my ovulation strips (I started them this morning...day 11).  DH and I had sex last night because he wanted to "release" as he put it to be better prepared for this week and I remember my RE telling me we should not have sex at least 3 days b/4 insemination.  So if I do the trigger tomorrow, that would maybe put me in LR to do insemination on Tue?  I have to ask my RE's ofc about that 2morrow.  I'm so confused on what to do.  I asked my RE and he said,  well, it's up to you.....if you normally pick up a surge from the ovulation kit, just stick w/ it.  No help there.....I want someone to tell me what would be better!  I'm a little frustrated but excited that it will be THIS WEEK!
