Do as I'm Told, ha ha ha ha

Yes, I will do as I'm told but with caveats. I will enjoy what I can, while I can. I am grateful not to be in a hospital right now. I had vanilla coffee, not motor oil. I woke up snuggled in my flannel sheets, dog by the side of my bed. I kissed my husband this morning. I have a stack of library books to curl up with and movies in my DVR queue to watch. I can grab my phone, not worrying about the volume or length of calls. I can walk around my lovely home still, being careful not to fall or trip of course but I can raid the fridge if I so desire and look out the windows. I heard the birds wake up this morning and ducks fly over my house to the lake behind us. I have a lovely neighbor next door who may want a visit more than I do, being elderly and in great pain due to arthritis. My four walls are bigger than theirs and do close in on me from time to time but this isn't the first time I've been sent home " to be comfortable" in the last 2 years. " Not my first rodeo " ha ha. I could go on with what I'm grateful for but the meds are upsetting my tummy so I'll get off the journalling for now. When I focus on God's many blessing for me, my situation is only a bump in my journey for now.
