Divorce papers filed

For some reason I feel relief that the divorce papers are being filed. We both will look over it and come to an agreement, sign and it will be final in about 2 months. This actually gives me some relief that the divorce is happening.
My anger has decreased and I feel a lot better. But......I know there will be days that I will feel overwhelmed and sad, but overall I feel a lot better. I really do this feeling lasts and hopefully I can start picking up the pieces to my new life.
