Divorce papers
Last tuesday I went to the court where I filed the divorce papers to investigate what was the status of my divorce, it had been more than 8 months. To my surprise my divorce was final Oct 20, so there it is. I am divorce. I felt a little misguided anger. I end up with nothing, not financially anyways. And then I felt relief. I am free. And that feels really good!

No they did not let me know, I just went in to investigate and that is how I found out my divorce is final since october 20th.
I guess I have been celebrating since I found out.
Well I find it very odd that you didn\'t at the very least get something in the mail! If you are happy with the \"no settlement settlement\" then I am happy for you. Get on with the New Life, my friend!
At least you know now that you can freely move on. Hopefully, your daughter will come around also. I\'ve missed you. Congrats! You\'re finally rid of the jerk.
Thank you Trisha, kathi and MarieBB! Financially I am starting from nothing but my circumtances are a little different. So in my case I think it was the best decision.
I am moving ON. My life is peaceful. My daughter is one day cold and day warm. So I am giving her time.
