A Passion Turned into Purpose

My name is Shafali Garg, and I am a passionate jewellery designer with a dream to create timeless and meaningful pieces for people who value both beauty and energy. Since my early days, I have been deeply inspired by the charm of natural stones and their connection to emotions and healing. From Hobby to Profession

Growing up in a middle-class family, I always loved wearing jewellery, but even more than that, I loved creating it. After completing my graduation in 2014, I followed my heart and enrolled in a Jewellery Designing course, which I finished in 2016. From there, I started working as a designer and also took on freelance work, designing jewellery for clients who appreciated original and handcrafted pieces.

Despite working long hours every day, I never felt tired – because I was doing what I loved. This dedication became the foundation of my work ethic and creativity. And eventually, this same passion led me to discover the world of black obsidian rings.

A New Beginning with Etsy

The pandemic in 2020 changed everything. Like many others, I lost my job and faced uncertainty. But in that difficult time, I chose to turn a setback into an opportunity. I decided to start my own jewellery business and become self-reliant. Through a friend, I discovered Etsy – a platform that values originality and craft. I studied its policies and learned how it works. I knew instantly this was the right place for my work.
