Discontinuing Efexor - ohhh the joy

I knew this wasn't going to be easy, but last night freaked me out a little.  Thankfully I was with it enough not to panic.I had an anxiety attack in my sleep - I don't recommned it to anyone who hasn't tried it, lol.  I woke up tangled in my blankets and sheets, I'm not sure what was going on and can't remember now what I was actually "panicing" about, but I do remember talking myself down, knowing it was just a panic attack and I wasn't dying.  I think I thought I was having a heart attack or something, not that I was in pain, just heart pounding, and thinking "crap, I'm at home alone and no-one to get me to the hospital"  why on earth I'd think that I have no idea, cos I wouldn't go to the hospital unless I was dying. Anyway, fortunately, I did talk myself around pretty quickly and got back to sleep.   I hope that that is a one off.  I feel like I haven't slept for weeks, you know when you're a bit zombie like.  Every time I walk I feel like I'm sidling like a crabl, lmao, and my eyes feel like they're about a second behind my body. I saw the doc yesterday and told her what I was doing, I hadn't planned to do it without talking to her first, but I ran out of meds and I'd been talking about it with my previous doc for a while.  I'd come down several levels before, so pretty much knew what I had to do.  Although after doing some reading, suggested that the final step introduced another med temporarily.... ah well, lol.  She gave me another script in case I don't start to improve soon.  Then I'll try again with her help and the replacement med.  I'm just hoping thato I'll be right in a few days.  I'd like my brain back!!! Consequently, I haven't been doing too much this week.  I've applied for a few jobs, got a phone call from one mob the same afternoon I'd lodged it.  At first I was excited, but now I'm very sceptical.  He phoned to suss me out to see what I knew about the position and when I'd be available.  Well because it was up in town, I asked him if it was just a vetting process - not in those words, but I'm not gonna drive for 4 hours just to be checked over.  It's supposedly for a number of positions across the state.  Well fine, but are there going to be any near ME, cos if not, don't waste my time.  He said he'd call me back the next day to work out an appointment time and for me to research the position more.  Which I did!!!!  He never called back.  I was going to call him, then thought...... nah, it's all too suss, and I'm not wasting a trip to town.  If he calls back I'll reconsider. I have set up an email fax service for my business.  I flip flop daily on how much time and effort to put into this.  I need a regular income.  I don't want to lose my house and living on unemployment covers the mortgage and not much else.  Thank goodness for my savings, but I don't want to use all of that either. What a whiner!!!!! Anyways, I figure, while I'm not working, I might as well put my efforts into my business and if I get anything out of it, great.  If I get another job, I'll see if I can work around it-just have to play it by ear. Clint is packing his flat up, his flat mate left on Friday for Japan, and he is moving into a friend's place while he looks to buy his own place.  I'm so excited for him, I hope he can find something great reasonably soon.  Dale is still working - yeha!  Rick is over his neuralgia and back to normal-yay! I seriously considered buying myself a pup this week - there are a few black labs around.... I was soooooooooo tempted.  But then my rational brain took over (darn it).  I need to get my fences fixed up a bit, but more than that, what if I do get a job? that's not fair on the little fella for me not to be here all day.  Plus, I don't know if I'm up to the whole getting up in the middle of the night thing to let them pee etc - I'm already a noodle head....   Maybe I should look at adopting an older dog.  Then there is the allergy problems, lol. They fluctuate, but there are times when the dog is a real problem for me.I love it when our family dog comes to visit.  He just pops over when he feels like it, but they will be moving soon and that won't happen anymore.  Ahhhh decisions, decisions. The Island is swamped with motorbikes this weekend, although not as bad as I thought it might be, it's SuperBikes here this weekend.  Traffic will be horrid this arvo and tomorrow morning. Well, I think I've rambled on enough for one psycho puppy today.Hope my firends are all doing well.
