disappointing trip
stupid ds I had written out a long rant about our trip and it didn't post....just goes to show you what things have been like this weekend.
All I can say now is 7 hours in the er for a UTI and then 1 good day and 3 days in bed
Didn't see the falls didn't go in the parade of bikes didn't go to the dinner
None of it!!!
Hubs did say he will take me back and we will spend the weekend and he did get me a dozen orange roses so that makes up for it some....But I am still pissed at the fates for wrecking my weekend
Why should this be any different than our nonexsistant honeymoon right? Maybe it is just fate that we don't get those big romantic moments....
I hope everyone had a much better weekend than I did

I am SOOOO sorry you didn\'t get to do all the things you wanted to do. And the UTI seems to be a running thing among the group lately.
And BELIEVE me I get the pissed off at the disappearing RANT thing. Once you get it all out there and feel better about it and want others to know how it is for you and then BLAM!! all that effort just disappears!
I don\'t know about the nonexistant honeymoon (yours) but I had one of those too! I got married in November 2008 and I was just absolutely thrilled that I didn\'t pass out during the less than 15 minute ceremony. And we just went home afterward. Was very depressing after the fact but seemed like a good idea at the time.
At least you got ROSES and I love the orange ones!

I guess I was very fortunate to get sick after my vacation. I\'m so sorry that you missed out on eveything you planned and the orange roses sound gorgeous. I\'m not only having problems with DS but IE also. Can\'t do much on the internet right now. I\'m amazed the window is still open. Hope I didn\'t curse myself. We didn\'t get a honeymoon either so we joke about our 50 year anniversary. We\'ll both be too old to do much of anything. lol At least we wouldn\'t have to worry about a pregnancy scare. lol I really do hope you feel better soon.
I hope things get better for you!! I just booked our vacation and it scared me because Im afraid I will get sick before we go and loose money trying to get refunds keeping my fingers crossed. Big romantic moments are over rated LOL take care of that UTI!!-Michelle
That really sucks. Sorry for your weekend.
Try and save the rose petals in a cool area and when you feel better you can trail them up to the tub and sprinkle the rest in the water (or the bed).
Sometimes you just gotta take the romance when you can.
