Disappointed
I drove an hour to get to the treehouse. I was looking foward to spwnding some quiet time alone but found out they wanted me to share a room with 6 other people. I guess I could ha e sucked it up but I just wasnt feeling it. I dont tolerate noise very well...now Im trying to figure out what to do next. The weather is starting to get a little cooler here. Thinking i will buy a tent and start calling around to find campsites for my next getaway. Ive been wanting to camp for quite awhile so maybe this is just my sign to do so.

I am the same way. I prefer to be alone or with someone I know rather then be with a crowd. I would have done the same thing you did.
I am sure you will have more opportunities in the future to find some alone time in nature. There are many camp sites around.

Exposure to sound sensitive people often gets me counting my hearing loss as a blessing. Noise sensitivity all too often looks like one of life's meaner curses. Since I keep wondering what I am missing in the hearing world, I can't make it all the way to empathy for the curse of good hearing, but. . . Sympathy for your ruined weekend.
Yup, the sub-tropics are coming up on its most rocking camping season. Hope you find some good, quiet spots.
