Disappointed

Had my second epidural shot on Wed.  And I have been in more pain than I was before the shot.  I hope things get better.  They did both sides this time, a total of 4 shots.  I am disappointed that it has not worked yet, and I say yet...because I am trying to continue to have hope. 
Maybe by Monday I will have some good results from the shots?  I am hoping any way.
The Dr. told me while I am laying on the table that sometimes it takes 3 times to have it work....ummm....yeah I don't think so.  If after 2 I haven't received any lasting relief why would I go through another 2 days off of work,pain and getting my hopes up for nothing?
