disappointed
Well I am baqk from the respirologist, the good news my tests haven't gotten any worse! The bad news they haven't gotten any beter either, so that means no prednisone taper yet......DAMN! So I am going to make an appoitment with a natraupathic doctor and see what they have to say, my resp doc did say I could go ahead and try a couple of supplements because they have no interaction with the meds I'm on.
We went to the funeral home last night and it seems everyone I know is losing weight.....is there some bandwagon that I missed....lol I hate when you see someone you haven't seen in a while and they do the double take. I feel like I want to wear a sign that says I'VE BEEN ON PREDNISONE FOR 7 MONTHS OKAY!!!! maybe I should get it tattooed on my fore head.
Well2 more months of prednisone anyway, he said that I've only been on the full dose of cyclophosimide for 3 weeks so he is hopeful that there will be some improvement by my next appointment. I hate doing the pulmonary function tests they always give me a headache.
And thanks to the brain backfire I got turned around and was late for my appoitment....WTH I have been there so many times and I always go the same way.....thank goodness for GPS that's all I can say.

Hi..I also went this week for tests (walking, breathing, x-ray) and chat with doctor. He says the X-ray looks a bit \"clearer\" and he reduced my daily Prednisone dosage to 7.5 MG from 10. He wants me to lose some wright..but its not easy with the damn Prednisone. Hope you do well....I know its not easy.

I would like one of those signs also, but didn\'t need one at my rheumy appt this week. He called me fat only about 20 times. He was picking on me but . . . I hope that med helps very soon and you can taper the prednisone. There is really no describing the way you feel on that med until you\'re on it. Those tests make me really dizzy and turns my skin white and everthing else purple. I freaked out when I went to the bathroom after the test with the livedo reticularis I looked like an alien. Would have been a really cool costume, but I was so not expecting to see that. Good luck with the ND. Make sure it is a good fit, mine wasn\'t but my herbalist was a miracle worker. She was a lot cheaper too. I just picked the wrong ND. I heard very good things about the other ND\'s after I spent all my money. I wish you the very best and may healing energy surround you all day.
