Disable or have a disability
I am not disable I just have a disability which it harder to do something.
I still can walk. give shoulder rides to my grand kids and take them fishing, mow my lawn with a push mower and rider, remove the snow when that get here, go shopping with my wife, work on cars when then need to be work on, go out on the boat for a day of fishing, spend quality with family and friends. When the wife and I was on Vaction in Alsaka for 20th wedding anniversary we would walk almost 10 mles a day(not all at once but though out the day) she had one those things that count how many steps she would walk and I walk with her for most if it, more or less we figure that we walk it together. I am able to drive a maual transmission car and truck at work. I lost my leg not my heart to live life.
Yes every thing I do in life there is pain and discomfort I try to work thought it my hope that some day it won't be as bad.
As my leg guy said the first day he saw me is he was not sure if he would be able to get a good fit due to shortness of my stump, we been working and a scoket that will be the best fit. I will never see a prefect scoket that will be the one, because my stump has been losing volume sence the amputation. We are working on a new scoket and pump and I will get a new foot the Pathfinder® II
