Disability hearing date set

I finally have a date for a judge to hear my disability case on June 13.  I am so scared!  After two and a half years it almost doesn't seem real that something may happen with my claim.  Now I am frightened that they will decline me again!  I am so stressed out already just thinking about this upcoming event that I think I will have another exaserbation before I can get this over.  My hands are shaking as I type just imagining going before a judge in court. Has anyone else gone through this type of hearing and do any of you have any suggestions or help for me?!? Please, I am praying for help with this one!

Just be yourself...It is only normal to be so stressed at this time. All will be fine. I never made it to a court room. The judge called me on the phone, about my file, I called my attorney and before I new it, the judge called me again on the phone, asked a few questions, next thing I got a letter stating I was approved for SSD. I waited a little over 3 years time...I knew a day before my Attorney found out.... Good Luck, Praying all goes well. Love and Hugs

I never applied for ssd. I am still working. I\'ll be thinging about you and praying that it all works out. I agree with LeeAnn..just be yourself. I know it sounds easier than done though. I can be a scared chicken and get nervous and shakey at even the smallest things, and this is not a small thing. Yet when push came to shove this school year, I was able to go in front of the superintendent and then the school board about a horrible thing that my son\'s principal was doing. When it is needed, the needed strength is there.

I would probably be begging my neurologist for xanax for the time period of now til then. Hugs

Ive been told by several people over the years that your turned down atleast 3 times but if your persistant and are medically able to back up your case you\'ll get it eventually. Good luck.
