Disability and Health Insurance
Its so sad the way some of are disabled loved ones get treated in the health care profession. Its being labled as a step under when it comes to helthcare that hurts the most. My wife has mild mental retardation and mild cerebral palsy. She has insurance by the state but often it seems she gets discriminated against. I only want the best for her. Some places act as though they dont want to treat her. is it just me or is a great un justice being done before our eyes. The same people who claim to be providers are hypocrites. They laugh, mock and tease the mentally challenged endlessly. I only hope one day that people look past there differences and treat eachother as equals so Katie gets the care she diserves.
