Disability
I told my friends about me getting disability on the first try and all I got was negative thoughts. They think I have given up. But it reality this is a beginning. I know can get insurance to help me I can work on my masters with no worries of income and then work on my cpa exam. People see this as an ending but i see it as a beginning I am only 24 years old I am not doing this for the rest of my life I just need some insurance until we fiind out something that is going to help with this dreadful disease that I have. RA is not something to mess around with in the least.

I am not trying to mother you here. BUT you do what you need to do in your life. Only you are living your life. I am glad you got on disability!!!!!!!!!! Good for you and congradulations!! one less thing you have to worry about. You are young and you live life to the fullest!!!!!!!!! So, I for one am very proud of you for working on your masters!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO GET WOMAN!!!!!!!! :) that is awesome. you are not giving up because of this horrible disease, KUDOS TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fight it, fight it, fight it!!!!!!!!!!!! for as long as you can KEEP GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long have you had RA? Mine was most severe in the beginning, and is more manageable now that I have had it for a while.. I know that may not sound too helpful, but there\'s always hope
I too am on disability for RA and i got it when i was 22. It was a huge relief finally getting coverage on these expensive biologics and other medications without insurance companies giving me trouble. I\'m 27 now and the RA is worse than ever, I broke down and started going to a pain clinic for hopefully some real relief. You def have the right attitude and I got the exact same response from many of my friends!
