Ultra Star (777)
Dior Ultra Star (777) Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Lipstick ($37.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a bright, medium orange with warm, red undertones and a satin finish. The pigmentation was nearly opaque in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly overall, though that was slight product in my deeper lip lines. It wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance, though. It had a lightweight, slightly thinner consistency compared to the other shades (and it is already a thinner formula), so it wasn’t as smoothing of my lip texture as it could have been. It was comfortable to wear for the five and a half hours it lasted for, and the formula felt moisturizing to my lips.

Formula Overview
$37.00/0.11 oz. - $336.36 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "incredibly long-wearing" with "12 hour" wear paired with an "ultra-comfortable" feel and "high-pigmentation." First and foremost, no, it doesn't last 12 hours, and most shades don't come close--they last between four and six hours typically. There were a few, like deeper reds, that still had some product remaining after eight hours, but the lighter shades never made it through the meal. They have a very creamy consistency, balm-like, and within 30 to 45 seconds, they develop a slight cling, almost like a film, but it wasn't actually clingy or uncomfortable--I could just tell that there was a texture change as it "set." However, the "setting" of this formula just has that feeling, but the product would still transfer onto a glass or disappear during a meal.
Most of the shades were semi-opaque to opaque and applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without tugging or dragging. Some shades were more smoothing than others, but most shades looked flattering over my natural lip texture. The formula was lightweight, comfortable, and lightly to moderately hydrating over time. They had a heavy, powdery, floral scent that was noticeable for the first half hour of wear, though I didn't notice any taste.

Ultra Dior (999)
Dior Ultra Dior (999) Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Lipstick ($37.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a medium, orange-red with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good color payoff in a single layer and required a second layer for full coverage. It had a creamy, emollient texture that felt a bit more balm-like than like a typical lipstick, as it was thin without being clingy or sheer. The texture felt a touch clingier after a minute of “setting” on my lips, but it still retained the shine of its natural finish. The lipstick stayed on well for five hours and was lightly moisturizing while worn.

Ultra Atomic (660)
Dior Ultra Atomic (660) Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Lipstick ($37.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a bright, medium fuchsia pink with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied fairly evenly, but it was thinner and had moderate slip, which resulted in a formula that clung to my lips more noticeably and emphasized my lip lines. The lipstick glided across my lips and felt smooth going on, but I was surprised that highlighted my lip texture as most of the range did not. It lasted for four and a half hours on me and was lightly hydrating.
