dinner at k's//ruby tuesday with j and a//brown panther is injured i think
had dinner at k's. he made the meal in courses. first we had fresh watermelon smoothies with 3 kinds of alcohol, i think gin, tequila and vodka, but i'm not sure. whatever it was, it was excellent. then we had salad. then salmon with cajun seasoning, mayo, some kind of salad dressing blackened. also excellent. then the main meal of chicken parm and veggies, broccoli, corn, etc. all good. i brought over dessert, as its that time of the year where there are coupons for everything and more than one b-day. we had baskin robbins ice cream cake and i actually DON'T like it. normally i love their mint chip ice cream but not in a cake. hope i remember that for next year, but i have a feeling i made this mistake before. whoops. then coffee with bailey's and he adds vodka to his as well to make it stronger.
nice way to relax during the heat wave we are having. its 90 degrees even toward evening lately and then 70's very late at night.
had to pick up supplies and make appointments at the pound and something is going on there. always is. every year there is stuff there. lots of crap and changes with the personnel, and rules and who knows what. i only heard about some of it, but i know there will be more. it will be in the paper and there will be people outraged on and on. the only answer is the LAW has to change. a federal tax for mandatory and free spay and neuter and mandatory animals go to rescue of any sort (including tnr as a rescue) if not adopted but never killed.
went to look for rn's kittens and again didn't find them all. i hope he calls to let me know. the other girl coordinating fostering there also left and is at a pound way further south, surprised they stay with it at all with all the death. disgusting.
brown panther was missing and seems to be very injured or ill, like caught somewhere. i'm syringe feeding him water 20 ml in morning and evening and nutrical, he is also eating, but he is not okay and wobbly on his feet. at the minute i am blaming the girl the walks up and down the main road. she seems evil and panther is super friendly. its not safe to be friendly if anyone evil is around.
some of the rescues are sniffly right now. up at the pound as well. wonder why, its super nice outside. i love it hot. in south florida the saying is "the hotter the better" great weather for night swimming.

Wow, that dinner you had was a really good one! Sounded yummy! I\'d still be full! LOL! I like Mint chocolate chip! I always had a side job at Friendly\'s up here. As I recall, there were none in Florida. I love Friendly\'s ice cream. They have premade ice cream cakes as well...like Baskin-Robbins, but I don\'t think they use MMC ice cream in them. Anyway, I love ALL ice cream. Prolly because I can\'t eat it with my lactose intolerance and gastric issues. Torture, I tell ya!!
Sorry about all the trouble at the pound. Rescuing is so hard, emotionally, 38. Don\'t know how you do it, but so happy that you do!!
I\'m not fond of the heat anymore, but glad you are, if that\'s the kind of weather you\'re having. Enjoy what\'s left of those 90 degree days. Summer will soon be over! xoxo

i didn\'t know friendly\'s has ice cream cake. i will try it. yay! i\'m a huge fan of friendly\'s mint chip and swiss chocolate almond sundae. we have friendly\'s here but i don\'t go there too much. to me, everything that is fast food is one dollar higher than it should be. arby\'s is a good deal and so is wendy\'s, but its alllll full of gmo\'s, which is alllll poison. pesticides ingested does permanent damage, causes cancer etc. its a FELONY in europe to even PLANT GMO food. its illegal in california and russia and a slew of other countries....i\'ll stop, because it freaks me out that our country is poisoning the public, just as hitler did with germany as he took over in the 1930\'s. however, our country started poisoning our water with fluoride 35 years ago, so why am i surprised?
carvel makes great ice cream cake and so does publix. i haven\'t tried dairy queen or the stone creamery. i\'ll have to do a pseudo ice cream social/taste tester and buy allll of them one day, instead of buying ice cream and see which one is best.
