dinner at k's//raining outside//pruned trees downstairs

watching forensic files and the roosevelts at k's. eating watermelon, coffee, biscotti, veggies, salad, gin martini with olive and chicken fingers with cheese and stuffed mushroom. he says he is almost out of two big things of olives because the boys finished off both jars. brought him over paperwork on converting the other house to a section eight. they also call it housing choice. I only know one person who rents their homes via section eight. its basically for people on social security or single parents who want to live in middle class areas but can't without assistance and then the house has to be brought up to code that the government approves of. if repair is needed and the owner doesn't get it done the government will fix it and then bill the owner. sounds like a good program I guess.

nothing else going on. I slept yesterday and needed it. its rainy out. pruned the branches downstairs and washed the car. still have paperwork and adoptions to do and need to download paperwork as well and call the girls west of area, plus our travel agent. I think the rain is making me sleepy or all the changes are. the changes are way over due and hope it all works out. around here if you wait on things they usually resolve themselves. I think doing hand washes, which is a new thing for me, does for me what doing the rosary 3 times per day with the catholic channel does for p. very calming. walked to the park a few times each week. up the dock/pier.

Tuesday night has become my get the weight off my shoulders, stay out late, no regard for anything and do as I please night. what a relief. then I usually have another one of these during the week unless I'm really tired. its pouring rain right now. I can hear it from the roof. not good. drank the left over coffee in the cup next to me and forgot, this is florida, bugs are attracted to coffee and cream. yuck! can't believe I forgot that.
should have left earlier, its after 3 a.m. i'll wait it out or soak my back. my neighbor said we were going to get a storm from texas, wonder if this is it? watching turner classic movies from the corner of my eye. this is a fred Astaire and rita heyworth. i'll write this properly later. the tv turned itself offearlier. is that lightening or does it just do that?
