dinner at k's//chocolates from the hope store//another memoir//area man starting crap again

got into a huge argument with our latest area supervisor who keeps getting into crap with anyone who is around.  this time i got him to E MAIL me his demands and in very UNPROFESSIONAL language he e mailed me AND gave himself a higher up title.  then i checked our site.  doesn't say that title on there.  but i will wait it out.  i'll print this.  post it for 2 days and then save it for the future.  a paper trail.  amazing what a total dork this guy is.  i also think he is the type of person who lies so much that he believes his own lies.  he has been with our company for about five months, but he must lie about that a lot -- he tried to tell me he hasn't and then caught himself because i have been here over ten years.  what a jerk.  i know who is who and what is what, thank you.
i'm still fuzzy from being away and unpacking and catching up on laundry etc.  grrrr.  sent over some real estate tips to k.  had dinner at his house yesterday.  nice to sit around and relax he made mushroom risoto and organic chicken, all good, as always with peach smoothies with gin, which was also excellent.  brought him breads, along with rn and whatever else was on sale that they like.  biscotti i think and those french chocolate cookies.  the hope store is a wonderful deal on some things and other things are more than walmart.  doesn't make sense because its bump and dent.

just started jane pauley's memoir, skywriting, a life out of the blue.  i guess this is memoir year - its another first edition in perfect shape.  she has the same memory problem that i do, she says if she ran into her mother wearing a different hat, somewhere that she didn't expect to see her, she would introduce herself and not know who that woman is at all.  lol.  i DO that.  i also expect people not to remember as well, which isn't the case.  some people have wonderful memory for other people and their names.  hoover was supposed to be one of those.  there is only one way around it, i have friends who say hi from the seat of their car or A car, and do that on purpose.  that seems to work for me.  if they leave their car or a car, the same thing can happen and its like okay, who are you.  omg!  i'm fine, as long as they are WHERE i expect them to be.  it was worse as kids, because kids look different each year, so every year its like meeting them all over again - very awkward.
w has a new dog, its a short haired papillon or pomeranian, he's not sure and i can't find a short haired version of either one.  maybe its a pom-chi?  its very cute but doesn't look at all papillon.   good luck to him, its a puppy and adult animals are waaaaay easier than puppies - he'll have two years of training in front of him.
k got into a fight of some sort with his houseboy and is also being harrassed by his insurance company who wants to inspect this year?  is that a new thing or what, don't insurance companies normally just bill you?  mine does.  he thinks he needs a new roof.  i doubt they would even notice that anyway.  he also has a pipe leak, but can't locate the pvc pipe, even though HE is the one who installed it (25 years ago).   so that will be the next drama.
at my house i did a bunch of pruning and need to bleach off mildew and get exterior white paint, with this mildew powder that you put into it.  also need outside electrical wire for the light over the driveway.  what a year.  now wouldn't a piece of land for the animals and a nice hi-rise condo where they do everything for you, be great?  especially if they have a nice warm indoor AND outdoor pools.

the landscaper showed up on his own today. he is actually doing a great job, no prompting needed. ditto with the guy that works days, that the area guy is harrassing, he is also good. wish the area guy would either quit or back off of him, who the hell does he think he is.

this reminds me of when joec and i were breaking up and his father tried to shake down my stepfather FOR MONEY, that is how scummy....this whole thing is worse than that. so i say to joec\'s father, who i didn\'t realize was just as bad or worse than his son, wow, i\'m surprised he didn\'t shoot you, because he has a gun in his top dresser drawer. leave it to good ol teenage me. lol. his father just stares at me. his mother is laughing and saying, LEAVE IT, just leave it. i had no clue just how hoodlum all of that stuff was back then. everyone with high end jobs, big homes, beautiful suits and totally hoodlum. i honestly thought everyone had guns in their top drawers. seriously. they used to say all the time, which one is yours? to his father because his father was very hoodlum, even in his suits. its all stolen anyway because they are all shisters and embezzlers and worse of some sort.

my jacket smells like cigar from j and its awful. i sprayed it with febreeze fabric refresher and its still like that. grrrrr.

at br\'s the aloe plant i saved, that was all brown, is soooo huge now, it will need replanting again. he also says, he paid his landscaper extra for pruning the bushes in the back of the house. how nice, since i\'m the one that pruned them. doesn\'t matter, at least its done.

One of the things I don\'t like about going to my moms is that everything starts to smell like smoke because both her and her husband smoke. I just have to wash all my clothes the day before I come back home. She just moved, so I don\'t know how it\'s going to be at the new house since she doesn\'t smoke inside. But I feel you on the smoke thing.
