dinner at k's//book sale at library//saw rn and byn//wicker lady came by//HAPPY EPIPHANY!!

HAPPY EPIPHANY/3 KING'S DAY!!   at the library book sale, but headed home, the new "day vitamins" make me sleepy red rice yeast, fish oil, flax seed and for now goldenseal and Echinacea because I still have a sore throat.  I need a nap.   weird how long this cold/flu lasted.  picked up liverwurst to help with the iron.  the iron pills seem to tear up my stomach.  pills are tricky.  you need a full stomach for most of them, including vitamins.  I've had this since December 23/24, seems kind of long for a cold/flu?
was at k's house very late because I decided to download windows 10 on his computer and it took HOURS.  had no idea it does that.  watched first five episodes of Gilmore, haven't seen that show in years actually.  its always good.  have a different take on it now though.  there's more tension to it than i recall before and I used to relate more to rory and now i relate more to the grandmother.  wow.  what a difference.  also understand her not wanting the interference, though to me, its better for rory and so much easier to let it be since its good for the kid anyway, I wouldn't be anything like her.  depends on the person I guess.  when people have small families they always act differently than people surrounded by a zillion people.  I also picked up a copy of the pilot at the dollar store.  lucky me.
we had mango margueritas which my stomach didn't handle at all.  no idea why.  or my stomach is just acting up.  pork loin, gravy, baked potato, peas, coffee.   I brought him german dark bread.  and picked up and washed the sweaters for the dogs that he picked up from the other house.  got there early because I had blood drawn before that and it knocked me out.  took a long hot bath and relaxed for several hours.  bad rain storm last night and yesterday in general.  a lot of wind and downed branches.
rg was there and gave me cases to use for n's download of trans-syberian orchestra.  yay.  saved me a trip to a pawn shop for empty cases.  k called and is thrilled with amy's organic chili, I picked up at the hope store.  that brand makes everyone happy.  i'm more of a fan of wolfgang puck, I just discovered his creamy tomato bisque.  fabulous.  also discovered Raymundo's makes coconut flan but with mocha, its good.  I love coconut flan with caramel sauce.  found it by accident.  the people that lived downstairs from where I took my meals in fuengirola, spain used to make the best coconut flan I've ever had.  fabulous.  they wanted her to work at having it sold in stores.  no idea if it ever joined a food line.  really good.  a lot of that mail is missing both from robw and from bda's mother who got into it and ripped it up, along with magazine covers of mine.  wth.  all irreplaceable.  first bda steals them.  then her mother steals them from bda and tears them up.  bda's brother says to bda, what did you think she would do with it, she tears up EVERYTHING and bda is like, but its not her's.  no its not.  but her mother used to spend ten days of every month in a mental institution, did she really think her mother was sane?  bda would say yes, she thought all female adults live in mental hospitals ten days of each month.  you know, when your mother is "away" she assumed all mothers were away in a mental institution and she was in her 30's by then, are you kidding me?  seriously.  I've never comprehended it.
and then steven says to her, and what were you, bda, doing with someone else's stuff to begin with?  kind of like him with his, give me some, instead of saying congratulations if anyone gets anything - a good job, a role in a movie, a new car, a house.  wth?   omg!  and bda would say, so the whole family is crazy then.  steven used to unplug the amps at his cousins concerts and heckle her and as a locksmith, break into homes and say well someone told him to AND change the locks as well.  hmmmm.  over 35 and a "pro" locksmith, but you don't know that only the owner of a property can order a changed lock?  totally sick.  what is horrifying is that bda's mother was still permitted to work as a nurse full time, even with a lifelong history of mental disorders.  sooooo scary.  same with nick's mother c.  the law says, if they can do the job you can't fire them.  really?  want to know how many people bda's mother killed at the hospital she worked in?  she was there 45 years.  she liked killing when she would spiral.  and even after she "retired" was still breaking into the hospital and killing.  one of the guards remembered her and would let her in.  they fired him ("forced retirement"), but her mother was still getting in.  grrrr.  so much for security at hospitals.
reminds me of the garage door installer here who makes his real money breaking into homes with the remote he just installed.  sickening.
watched forensic files and the guy from westfield, nj "list" is his name, was on - the one who murdered his entire family and then they got him 20 years later in 1989.  they showed how they made an aged photo of him.  it was done through sculpture.  excellent.  he died in 2008 finally, in prison and his new wife in Colorado refused to believe he was a psycho killer.  yup lady your husband is a psycho killer who is also a cpa.  rn got the biscotti, saw her yesterday along with byn.  byn has jaundice, so he stopped drinking.  great, will stopping drinking correct the liver damage because that has to be what the jaundice is from.  omg!   he normally looks good and he doesn't right now.  told her to bring him to a local hospital, but she doesn't want to.  wth?  she got a new car, an suv for Christmas from her brother and he took her pick up which needed front end repair - he's in the car business in Georgia - I think he's the one who adopted eight foster kids.  amazing.  people are amazing.   the suv is a nicer car.  very pretty.
the woman with the wicker came by with her friend, also driving an suv.  very nice of her.  turns out her husband died in august and now her son is getting married, so she is selling her house and sorting through everything and unloading.  she seems very upset in general.  the house is on 3/4 of an acre west of here and too much for her to handle or live in alone.  she didn't seem okay at all, reminded me of p when her husband bob died.  she didn't seem to expect him to marry.  no idea how old he is.  sometimes going back to work -- any kind of job -- is a good thing to do.  it builds confidence and keeps you occupied.  or how about volunteering at church or an animal shelter - there is sooooo much out there that needs to get done, and never enough people to do it all.  not even close.
except for this lingering cold and feeling tired, mostly good day.  the weather turned nice today.  amazing because yesterday was cold, rainy and windy.   the woman said its like that west of here today, all day, which is why she drove over.  glad I didn't attempt to go out there.  she knew the area where I live because her son used to play in a symphony and they would perform over here.

what is towers annie?

the computer does all the work, the download is normal but takes a long time, the install takes even longer but the computer will shut off and go on as it does it all by itself. it does take hours though.

i\'m a fan of gilmore as well. nice to see it on again. i mentioned it to r and he says the dvd\'s for it still sell, even after all these years. they should have kept it on tv, it was so popular it could have stayed on for 20 years.
