dinner at k's//3 managers resigned at the office park//had blood drawn//office at orange
if i close my eyes, sitting at my desk, i'll fall asleep. i'm that kind of sleepy. hmmm, the one who was a no show for his interview, showed up tonight ???? on a motorcycle wearing shorts and let me know he found his wife in bed naked with some guy that he knows that lives on the other side of their duplex. hmmm. you are showing up for an INTERVIEW, you are wearing shorts and talking about naked and sex? wthhhhh?
i know "kids" are more open now because internet and social media and phones with cameras ... has made them that way. OR he has something mental wrong with him. and he is not a kid, i get that. he is probably 29 or 30. he's not a kid. i am super old. lol.
even with the other new guy looking for two more days, we are still short handed especially during vacation times. 3 more managers from this office park "resigned". one asked to be demoted and the new management said no, so he left. they had a lunch and bar thing for him locally, so its on good terms. they said he requested a demotion and they said no. rumer has it that new management coming in are from mexico and they aren't on a strict budget, which is strange because money has been tight up until now. personally, i don't think anything on water can stay commercial this close to the ocean. if they wanted to safeguard this, they should have bought surrounding land because anything that is residential will complain if there is anything commercial nearby.
watching "progress" is always unnerving. my friend's father said the only place he ever went to that stayed EXACTLY THE SAME even 40 years later was Altoona, Pennsylvania. it made him want to move to Altoona. lol. it was 40 years later and he still recognized EVERYTHING and knew his way around and he'd only lived there a few months before leaving for the navy.
had dinner at k's. what did we eat? beef in a sauce. reallllly good. vegetables with guacamole ranch (its fabulous). seedless watermelon cut into squares. excellent. drinks. rum and cokes. and coffee.
watched a documentary on the roosevelts and forensic files - which is very 1980's/1990's so looks completely normal to me. lol.
went to the hope store and got lucky with supplies for the animals. we are trying gravy train, which is easier to find, but k says, its only chuck wagon that they like. makes no sense. they eat chuck wagon and cat food and that is allll, they have rejected ALL the higher end dry foods.
went to the sale at the other church. the minister's teenage daughter has the new credit card reader that you stick into the phone. i gave him the flier on food co-ops from the hope place. don't know if he'll do it. he says even running the store is a LOT of work.
had blood drawn at the hospital. this will be a lifelong thing because of cholesterol. she did a good job with it, but i still have a giant bruise. i'm reading the second half of astor place vintage, and i rather be doing that than everything else.
stopped at the office by orange because the documents he said he sent i never received TWO times.
he has aged a LOT in fifteen years - back then i was in one of his classes. lol. he says to me, i remember. and we both started laughing, because of course he doesn't, though we speak here and there for documents only.
he met president clinton two times for something with the college, and he had him sign a photo of them together. he says when he met him the second time clinton says to him. i remember this. and he cracked up. always a politician. wonder how many MILLIONS of people clinton meets. how do they do it - keep track. mind boggling.
i notice that allll the time now. people my own age, either WHITE haired or bald or bloated. how in the world did that suddenly happen? but they are alive, because cancer and multiple accidents and surgeries are the other thing. found out today that one of the managers has lupus. i didn't even know that. they are leaving for other reasons though. they are paid for 45 hours and then work 75. one of them said, when he figured it out he was making $8.55 per hour. the other interviewee said at cvs as a manager when he figured it out he was making around $11 per hour for the same reason, paid at $18 an hour for 45 hours and then they have you work 75 hours. its NUTS. one of the new guys is laid off from his other job, they cut back because of lack of funds and are open only 3 days now. its such a balancing act.

also went to taco bell with a. ordered their salad with the edible shell. the one at moe\'s is better and its the same price. hope i remember that.
the animals ATE THE GRAVY TRAIN!!! at first they didn\'t, and then they did. yay! so the rest of rumor is that he never tried for demotion, he wants OUT. but they doubt they would agree to demotion anyway. another says, its pancreatic cancer from 7 years ago that this other guy beat and now it is back and he is out for 4 months now. then another says, its not cancer its something else though. who knows. so many stories and if you are drinking (no one was) then its worse.
