Didn't come home - AGAIN!
Okay - I'd rather J not come home than to drive under the influence. Thankfully he didn't do that. The problem is he was told he couldn't use the car after work for socializing. I told him to bring the car home. He gets out of work late - around 1 and I'm sure it makes it difficult to get one of his friends (who probably have been drinking) to come and get him here at home. So what choice does J have? To ignore us. He's gotten away with it so many times with us that I'm not surprised. I know we should just take the keys away because of his drinking and driving incident but ~ it won't be easy to have to get him when he works the late shift. Thankfully, we will be down to two cars because my hubby's car will be in the shop. We're borrowing my mother-in-law's car for now because she can no longer drive. Anyway - not having the extra car will make it easier because we'll have no choice but to drive him. *Still haven't had our "sit down". Dreading it.
Did I mention that she managed to buy me a cute top to wear for the holidays? Even in her chronic pain ~ she kept the "tradition" of bringing me a new top to wear when they come to visit. God love her.
Had a great weekend. Great weather - high of 68 and sunny. Finished all the yard work and even got all the Christmas lights up. All set for the ugly weather heading our way. Today it's been raining. Whew.... glad we got everything done!
