Did Not Get the Job
Hello, I was offered a job. I was interviewed one day and I told human resources that I had college courses. I was still offered the job. On another day, I went to a 7 hour job orientation.
The next day, I was on the job as my first day of training. I was actually excited and optimistic. I opened a checking account for the first time to receive any paychecks. My full-time work schedule didn't fit with my class schedule.
I couldn't work the required amount of 40 hours per week and have my classes at the same time. There were no flexible work hours available at the time. So, I guess they took back their offer. I'm not sure if this counts as me getting fired or not. I have nothing against them. Anyway, I'm fine. I'm just disappointed in myself and bummed out. If you read all of this, thanks.

Congratulations! You did get the job, you did finish orientation, you did work at a job. That is an accomplishment. You made a mature decision to open a checking account. You are now able to find a job that allows you the flexible hours you need to continue your classes. Those jobs are available to you. Sorry, you are bummed out about this, It helps to post about how you are feeling. A friendly hug sent your way.
No need in being disappointed in yourself you did everything right it was their screw up for offering you something when they knew you had school don't beat yourself up for their mistake
