Did another funeral today
I did another funeral today for a lady I have known over 50 years. I did her husband's funeral in 2009. She was a sweet lady and loved her family. My wife played the piano and a friend of mine sang, "The Old Rugged Cross and Victory in Jesus. I went to the piano and played "The Lighthouse, while my friend sang it.
I hope this is my last one for a while so, I can catch a break. We came home then, went to a Weiner Roast our church had, at a friends house. It was a nice evening and we had a lot of fun. Food was great. Weiners, sausages, smores, marshmellows, potato salad, baked beans, brownies, pumkin pie, chocolate swirl cake, a vegetable tray, tater chips, dip, iced tea, soda pop, and water. All kinds of relishes, etc.
Tomorrow, we do what we love best. Preach and fellowship.
