did a lot of pruning//finished evluations for work//library sale//looking for a pet for p

so i just finished doing evaluations for work, the last of them without the adjustments for whoever helps in emergencies, works holidays, weekends (though everyone does weekends at some point nowadays) and whatever else is on there, so you end up with two scores.  i'm using luvpops lollipops for energy.  CHERRY is the best.  seriously.  totally love these and got them for 15 cents at dollar general after valentine's day.  i think i enjoy the after-sales more than the holiday.
i'm at the library.  went to a book sale.  i love these.  i straighten books a bit when i am here because i'm one of their supporters etc.  i do the same thing at the church thrift store -- i don't check in, i just do it.  i just realized this font is super-small because the setting on this is 100 instead of 125, its hurting my eyes.  i'm actually a book-addict and need go through books and see what can be disgarded.  anything sitting too long and never read (over ten years.  lol.)  anything not in large print or trade size so i can see it without hurting my eyes.
did a LOT of pruning at my house and need more done by the branches.  also did the row by the sidewalk that the neighbor behind should be doing and never does.  i did the same thing at br's one year and he paid the wrong person for it and so did the neighbor behind.  grrrr.  they could pay me in animal food or supply, but to pay someone that didn't do it at all is annoying.
back to the drawing board on looking at properties.  grrrr.  i'm afraid of the cell phone tower right down the road.  4 people on one city block with cancer, 2 on the new house street and 2 on the street behind it, is toooooo much of a coincidence to ignore.  plus, there is still the problem of the weirdo around the block.  wow!  never expected a madwoman.  explains a lot though.  the animals seem to love it though, so the idea is still a good one.
went to the sale at church and picked up a reel to reel mower that i have wanted for a couple of years as exercise and in between mows etc.  will still need a landscaper.  have no idea how to use it yet.  big reception over there as i hadn't been there in a while.  also picked up a wreathe for the door for spring.  nice to see everyone and glad everyone is okay.
back to looking for a pet for p.  after her daughter and their dog leaves she will be alone and is freaking on that.  she should TRY just living solo.  most people spend the bulk of their lives hoping to be on their own at some point, its so nice.  otherwise, their office or the like - like a beach house or fishing cabin becomes their main refuge.  i have seen this with so many people, wonder if they review that in gerontology classes.  was realizing last time i wrote on this - p's eight kids (she's catholic), her youngest three kids are from the husband before her last husband, i think one of those is the one that died and its awkward to ask.  the other is with her now and the other is in nj for the minute, her kids were supposed to leave for college and have no idea if they did (its a bad marriage and its hard to keep track of that kind of thing).  frank is just out of rehab six years ago and married to someone else who succeeded rehab, i think his sister is the one that died of cancer who lived with their father in puerto rico who was a fiance of the mother but not a husband and they lived together back when that was considered a "new thing".  hard to believe now, because now its more like, you haven't lived together yet?  lol.  j, the eldest is a rape baby from when she was 15, she was raped by her friend's father, had the baby, her mother and stepfather raised it and had her work and pay child support for him, with the deal that when she finished school they would sign over custody and they never did.  a lot of betrayal over there.  p's sister decided to let her son j, know alllll of this eight years, which ended allll relationships she and her sister who she always hated to begin with and she and j, it never healed.  too awkward, oh, your father is  a rapist.  not good.  p's sister is an asshole.  p was closest to her grandmother who raised her from baby to age 9 and then her mother won custody and just wanted her around to cook and clean, when p would leave and go to her grandmother her stepfather would beat her up.  absolutely awful.  she should write a book of her memoirs and survived it all, mostly from the catholic church helping her.  it has a nice set up.
i have no clue who the other two kids are.  omg.  there is eight, two died.  i know of four that are actually around of the remaining six, unless there is another in puerto rico from that one puerto rican boyfriend?    can't figure it out at all, i should have written it down.  and if you know someone ten years how do you ask?
library is closing.
