DH's problems
General health update on my 79 yr old DH, as I am his caregiver. His problems began before I knew him in 1979, when he was robbed and beaten, and left with a letter opener embedded in his neck. This nicked his spine and left him with pain and disabilities.
Then in 1991 he had kidney cancer and lost one kidney. 1995 had a fall at work which required spinal fusion and plates in his neck. 1997 he had bladder cancer. Took BCG treatments and was clear. 1999 diagnosed with Myelodysplasia and started on Procrit. Some other stuff was tried, but failed. 2007 diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. 2008 mass discovered by spine. 2011 developed Atrial Fib. Also is in stage four of kidney failure.
He has diabetes, high blood pressure and has had cataract and partial knee replacement surgery.
Tomorrow we go for scans on the tumor by his spine. Will post when we get results.

Got the results of the scan. The tumor hasn\'t grown, no treatment needed. The increased pain is from increased osteoarthritis.
Easter passed in a fair fashion. Got the obligatory phone calls from one son and my daughter. Ate dinner with only DH, as nearby son isn\'t speaking to me. It\'s a good thing I believe in Karma - hee, hee, hee.....
