DH in hospital
This is day three of my husband's hospitalization. He has multiple long-time problems and only one kidney. Was awaiting a call for a referral to get a pacemaker. He had three days of "stomach virus" with the usual symptoms. Then there was blood in his urine, and then he could not urinate. That took us to the ER. Blood tests showed his INR (for coumadin) was 9, way too high. They said that was causing his kidney to bleed. They are keeping him in hospital until the reading comes down; but that is going slowly.
I'm off to the hospital now, will post when I know more.

Please take care of yourself and watch your meds. Something like this can really exacerbate your MG. You will need your rest more than you usually do. I didn\'t really factor all that in when my husband was hospitalized, but this was a new experience for both of us, and you may be better prepared. I took my emergency information and med list with me, too. Hugs and best wishes for yu both. b.
Sorry, I confused you. It is my husband who has the MG. He\'s getting his meds in the hospital. Actually on the last visit his neuro said more of his muscle symptoms/spasms are coming from his spinal cord injury than from the MG. She thinks the MG is mainly ocular.
