It creates an illusion self-destruction is the only path to salvation..
It lowers your expectations to suicidal aspirations..
It's agent's alienation that confines you to isolation..
Self-loathing's it's dope draining you of all hope..
It seizes a grip of your soul & sends you down on cruise control..
There's endless thoughts of despair racing by in a blur..
You're a trapped passenger with the grim reaper as chauffer,
You helplessly accept your fate..
It's check-mate! And it's too late..
You're helplessly drowning in a pool of despondence,
Praying desparately but there's no correspondence..
You request HIS forgiveness for your surrender,
To save your soul from death's eternal pretender..
