Devastated, Depressed, Hurting Beyond Belief
My husband of 22 years just filed for divorce. My GOD, the pain. He has rejected me for years, but I still love him so much. He pulled out of therapy, didn't want to work on it any more. He is beginning to admit he wasn't perfect now that it is too late.
I have never felt pain and grief like this. I don't even know who I am. I don't even know what to ask for when someone tries to help. I am not eating much. I have let my exercise regimen lapse badly because I have been sitting with him.
The more I accomplished in life the more he resented me. I lost 60 pounds. I wanted to get healthy. It was the beginning of the end. He didn't find me more attractive, he rejected me sexually all the same. He was constantly suspicious of me.
He doesn't take care of himself. One of my big tasks has been to try to keep him alive and marginally healthy. I'm afraid that he will fall apart completely after I'm gone. And if I didn't love him so much it wouldn't matter, I guess.
Anyone who happens to read this, if you have any advice or encouraging words, please message me.

(((HUGS))) Take care of yourself. I know it\'s hard to eat, but try to take a few bites of something that is good for you. Continue to go to therapy even if he won\'t go.
Just remember one thing , it is tough but not impossible.
If you need a friend to listen, I'll be here. I hope you are feeling better
