Detaching from the addiction

I learned a wise affirmation today. 

It is none of my business who S is, he has the right to be in this world however he is. 

I have warm personal regard for S at all times. 

May first this seemed like bullshit to me. How can it not be my business when this dude has gone out of his way to hurt betray and lie to me? 

Well maybe it has nothing to DO with me. It's a part of him that is his. I can't help him or change him. If I truly loved him it wouldn't matter what he does with his heart body or mind. 

I need to spend my energy on loving me. I know where that will go and how it will be received.
