Depressed or PTS
I do not know what I am going throigh. When Ken passed I could barely function. But since my mom died, I am constantly thinking of myself dying. I am not wanting to die. But the other issue is my feet pain, barely can stand to walk and do not know what to do to help them. I think if I could walk without severe pain I would not be in this state of mind, so what do I do. Its not like we can just run to dr to dr with what is going on in this world. With the new virus seeing to be taking over if your high risk and I am.. It is too much the news? I have to somehow get a change of attitude....if I could just figure out how to stop my pain...yet at the same time, we are being told not to go places, closing colleges, no spectators at the games. Is it too much... My pain is too much. I was having relief sometimes, now it never stops. I walked around the campground and got the mail by the time I got to our place i could hardly bear the pain. Not just feet pain but now they are talking of gallbladder and heart test...What to do....

Have you been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy? There are meds to help if that’s the issue. Or do you have circulation issues...l..again medically treatable
And yes. You go to see your doctor if you need to

Those feet have been an issue for a very long time. I hope they figure out what all is causing your other health problems. Take care of you as best as you can!
I'm so sorry for the pain in your feet. I don't have this issue but a dear friend of mine does. Her name is Carol Johnson Garlin; she's on FB. I asked her about it and this is what she shared:
"What I have is called neuropathy. It can be caused by diabetes, chemotherapy or trauma to the feet. It’s nerve death and it’s so very painful. Here’s a list of things that helped me Nivea 48hr : put it in the refrigerator, I promise it feels good even if for a few minutes. Get some of the fuzzy socks for when your feet get cold. Get a good pair of house shoes and everyday shoes. If I can help just call me. You can give her my number if she needs someone to talk to. I have tried it all! If she’s not had chemo, trauma or not diabetic it can also be caused by a B12 deficiency. She needs bloodwork done to determine that."
It's hard to stay positive and enjoy life when you're physically and emotionally hurting so badly.
My love and prayers ~
Sandi, I too have chronic pain that nothing has helped. The pain clinic feels it is a nerve root problem cause by degenerative disc disease but nothing helps. I have tried p.t., chiropractic, nerve blocks, acupuncture. My back pain improves some but the shooting lightning bolt pain from my right hip into the front of my thigh, into my knee, leg and foot won’t go away. This started almost 3 years ago. I no longer even go for treatment. It doesn’t work & it was costing a fortune. The only thing that helps at all is my Quell. It’s a TENS machine. It doesn’t help my back at all because it’s not nerve pain & it doesn’t help the hip, leg pain during the day but it helps when I’m laying down trying to sleep at night. Before I got the Quell, I didn’t sleep for almost 2 years. I don’t know if you’ve looked into the Quell but maybe it could help you too? I went online & looked it up before I purchased it. And I’m glad I bought it. At least I can sleep now. Prayers...
