Depressed, alone and scared
My name is Maureen I am so depreesed. Going through kidney surgery next week and I feel so all alone. I have a husband and three kids but not one of them as ever understood my depression. I have a brother and sister and none of us talk to each other. I have tried to the point I'm just so tired of trying. I have seen a therapist for the last eleven years and talk cybalta for depression and xanax for my anxiety. Friends I really have none because I'm rather on the shy and quiet side. I'm just really scared about my upcoming surgery and just wish someone would write me send me a hug or something. I just need to realize there are still good people out there that cares and understand what I am going through.

Hi Maureen. I am touched by your story and pray that you will do just fine during and after your surgery.
I can relate about not really having anyone to talk to. I have 3 brothers and two sisters. I almost never hear from the brothers and the sisters do call occaisionally but we are not close.
I\'ve been seeing a therapist for over a year now, for GAD and ACOA issues. Some things are so hard to overcome!
I don\'t have any close friends either because I am rather shy and reserved myself so I understand where you are coming from.
Maureen, I understand and care about you/you\'re circumstance and you are in my thoughts/prayers.
(((hugs))) and best to you for a successful surgery and recovery! Feel free to talk, I know what it\'s like to be depressed.
