depression
so depressed all of a sudden...ok it came from something my mother said...my daughter is dating jason and if they get married she will be moving to slc and i won't see the kids like i do. i was so happy yesterday and this morning. my mom told me yesterday. today i have been listening to my psp and all it plays is love songs...so depressing knowing i am going to loose the thing i live for...my grand kids. i feel like i have hit the bottom of the barrel and i am trying to climb out but i keep falling. i knew my manic state wouldn't last long but did it have to be triggered that way? i'm trying to clean up the messes the kids made but i hurt physically along with my emotions. just hurting. all i want to do and i am doing is cry. i don't have the kids today and i miss them terribly what am i going to do if they move. am i just selfish to want to be with them every minute i can...tears

I have addressed this before. You can\'t center your life around other people and their children. Life promises us one thing: all things will change. So, you must prepare for the inevibility (she will, more than likely, not really go to live with Jason as the odds are against it - you need to consider this). However, with every change in your daughter\'s life, should you then be in despair every time even the \"thought\" of it comes up. Remember, in the beginning, I have advised you to make your own life for yourself such this it, alone. will be sufficcient. I know that you went through a lot in your divorce because of your over dependence on others and their presence to make you happy and to have a \"reason\" to live. The goal of a fully-lived and complete life is that it should be able to stand alone and that anything beyond the self that comes into it is a gift that can never be seen as permanent nor can it be used to make one\'s meaning of life either! Do you see what I mean? Ask me if you don\'t understand or need some kind of an idea as to how to accomplish this. Hugs. Neesie
