DENIED again

My appeal was denied.  No disability.  Next step would be a hearing.  While talking to my friend I concluded that if I decided to pursue it further and take it to court, I would probably stress myself out enough that I would qualify.  If I decide to drop it and start looking for a small part-time job (10 hours maybe?) I could probably have enough energy now to do it.

If I were still where I was 4-5 months ago, I'd give up on working and push harder for disability, but I am getting better bit by bit so it's time to start looking for work.

It\'s normal to get denied the first time around. My mom applied for it last year and when she was 61, was denied and now we\'re still waiting for the appeal. We had to go to the local disability office\'s doctors and we saw people in there who looked they were faking it. Meanwhile someone like my mom and countless others who need it, are struggling. I just don\'t understand why they\'d deny you more than once. I hope everything works out for you.
