Decisions, decisions again

Well, my youngest son has his heart set on a dog he saw at the local pound.  But $70?  $50 will go towards the spaying/neuter thing, so that's like a down payment.  However, not sure.  I want her as much as he does.  She's around 1 yr or less.  She's a red beagle.  Just not sure.  He is still missing Love so much as am I.  I'm just kinda lost. I know you can't replace a dog.  But the house seems so empty without her bouncing and liveliness.   I suppose I could just get the dog at the pound and if Faith gets along with her, hubby would just have to get over the whole thing.  LOL.  I'm the one who does the house training, feeding, etc. any way.
