Decisions, decisions
Well, the kids are back at school and I am trying desperately to get back to my school routine as opposed to the summer routine. I'm behind on my Ministerial Counseling Accrediation and my plaques and my Discipleship Course at church. I'm looking for a way to make some $$$$$ as things are going up, I know no one but me has noticed this, lol, and Disability will raise its deductible in Jan 2010 but NO COST OF LIVING RAISE so I will be further in the hole. At what point does the hole become a grave? LOL I'm not sure, but I'm either going to hit the center of the earth or oil, no, in WV, it would be coal. That would bring in some bucks, yes? I really would like to give my plaques a whirl selling online as some friends are pushing me to do but my family, altho they agree I should do more of my plaques & artwork, they won't leave me ALONE to do this. There, my dear peeps, is the conundrom. If I were to work outside the house at a job, if I were able, and if I could locate one, etc., I would at least be left alone to get a job done where I could earn some $$$$. However, I fear this may set off my CFS, FM, Dystonia, etc. and incapcitate me more so. That's why I was leaning towards the plaques. If I'm having a good day, do some, if not, none for the day. I guess there is no "REAL" way to know if I can do the plaques on line and get some dough coming in except to give it a try. I suppose I could do some very general type, which has not been my style in the past if you look at my pics aptly labeled PLAQUE. But I suppose I could also offer "speciality" plaques as well. OK, HONEST OPINIONS. I'm hearing E-BAY.com and ETSY.com as possibilities.

I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don\'t know how much of a hassle it would be, also being commited to it wouldn\'t it drive up your stress level? I know the money issue is a big one but what does your husband think?

NAN - hubby is telling me NOT to apply for a couple of jobs as he stated I wasn\'t able to do it. In my heart, Nan, I know it\'s true.
I see, in a lot of ways, that my health has gotten worse, not greatly, but worse. Also, I have found that this Dystonia is progressive. GAG! Fibro, CFS, and Dystonia all are progressive. So....I am considering doing my plaques but I wake up and don\'t feel well enough to DO anything until along 10 am and then I\'m good until say 6 PM-9 PM somewhere in there.
So, these days, I\'m just walking around confused & lost, not sure of what my purpose is in life, etc. Not depressed and I\'m trying to just figure things
I know it\'s hard especially if you are a social person. Your circle of friends and associates dwindles when you are at home more. I have seen my social life dwindle down so much. It makes me angry because I so want to be out there volunteering and enjoying being with others, but when you can no longer do it, well you just have to find different outlets. The worse part is that when we do go out we usually look pretty good...so how can we be sick?????

How much do you sell the plaques for? I\'m especially interested in the one that pays tribute to a departed animal with their picture on it. I like those & recently lost my 10 year old Golden Retriever to cancer.
NAN - AMEN! If I hear \"you look fine\" one more time I may be brought up on charges of assault & battery! LOL I\'d love to be able to open my front like a lid on a box and let them see the INSIDE. Second thought, that would probably frighten me more seeing the actual damage instead of just feeling it. LOL Hugs.
Dear Sam: The cat, Suki, was a long one as the lady didn\'t have much height in her rooms. The dog, Quazar, was not quite a rectangle but probably like a 8 1/2\" x 10\" or 11\". The one of my beagle, Francis, with the roses, was small like 5\"x7\" & hangs in my kitchen. There isn\'t in woodburning on it, just computer graphic design and plaque.
So, prices would be dependent on how intricate you\'d like. The SUKI & QUAZAR run $35.oo plus shipping & handling. I always add insurance and confirm delivery. If you\'d prefer no insurance or confirm, that would be your choice. I\'ve always done that for my piece of mind and knowing that the package arrived safely.
I apply clear coating after the work is complete and add a hanger for the wall so when it arrives, it\'s literally ready to go.
Any further questions, please feel free to ask. I\'ve set up ALL my plaques at www.facebook.com and if you search wvwoodsartscrafts you can look at my picture album for other things I\'ve done.
Thank you so very much for your interest and I ALWAYS try to match your personality and the pet\'s personality into the plaque to make it truly a tribute & unique.
