Decision made
Roger
I know you know by now I have made a decision to sell this place and move.
I pro and conned all the ins and outs, worked on how it would work and decided financial woes would be worse staying here: the electricity bill was horrendous here with all the snow, the extra internet costs, two phone systems:cell and home land line, and the extra from living high up on the mountains.
I was hoping to win the lotto enough to pay this place off, and have some extra to keep on going until I was old and gray. I am going to miss the elk and deer going by my window. BUT I am not going to miss the loneliness with so few people to interact with, I won't miss the extra snow fall Except I will miss snowmobiling but than no one would take me anymore. I will the trees and landscape but I just can not see digging myself deeper in a hole staying here.
SO I am going to try and sell and move closer to Scott in Boise, Idaho. I have been looking at acreage with homes (homes are same size altho' I want smaller) and they are cheaper than what our place was assessed at and that assessment was just for refinancing with the bathroom undone etc. SO hoping I can get close to that and I will be financially ahead. There are more job opportunities in Boise compared to Yakima with less miles to travel to work. IF I could work more hours and longer than seasonal I could do it but again still spend more money here living.
I do not really want to move so am torn but I know I should, and I think a new perspective and new beginning will help me. BUT I will always miss out mt home and what our dreams here were. ITS saddens me I will never see Chinook Pass or live here again. We were so excited when we found this place. SO please ask GOD to help sell quickly and fairly so I can move on now that I have made this decision.
I still miss you and still can not believe you died. I hate thinking I am going to grow old alone.
I hope you, Jessie, Nicker, Nece, Moon, BRiar, and Paddy are having a good time along with your dad. Your Mom is suffering so much in the nursing home, please bring her home to you all...
I hope this is the right decision, financial it is....my heart is on the line....
But working at Squaw Rock is helping me get out...it was a fun place when we managed it, and it still is. So many memories.

Bless you as you move forward with new plans. We really don\'t know what is ahead do we? We can just put one foot in front of the other and pray for the best. I am saying a prayer for you right now that you sell quickly and have peace of mind.

I know how you feel. I am praying for you. The mixed emotions having to move saddens me too but you need to do what is right for you. Our lives have changed and we have to make more decisions and more changes. I pray the lord will guide you. Edie
Your move will bring you some inner stregnth, it will be a double edged, bittersweet experience. Moving closer to those you know and care about will do you good as well. The new surroundings will draw you to your tomorrows. I hope you find a buyer quickly, so you can see where this path will lead you. Good luck and God Bless.
I know this was a tough decision, and I will add my prayers for strength and success. It\'s so hard to leave the dreams behind, too.
Love and Hugs, Martha
I wish you the best of luck! This decision was instantly made for me when I lost my husband\'s income when he died. I cannot afford to live in my home, although I miss it horribly and would stay there if I could. My house has been on the market for 18 months with no action. I know it will kill me to sell the home we built in 1979 and the 35 acres, but it must be done. I don\'t want to discourage you; I hope the market is better where you live. Of course you will miss your home and the memories, as I do. But you will have new experiences to look forward to and new memories to make with family by living closer to them. I wish you peace and strength to continue going ahead with your plans. Hugs, Patti
