What is wrong with these government programs that are supposed to help us? I have been trying to understand the Trillium drug plan since aug. and what a laugh. this is supposed to help people with high drug costs and lower income right? well talk about an exercise in frustration. They don't tell you how you are supposed to take care of any of this stuff they leave it up to you to stumble around and find your way. I have accumulated over $1000.00 in meds since aug and that is my total yearly deductible, so I send in a print out from the pharmacy like they told me too, but they send it back because it didn't have enough info, well why didn't the people at the pharmacy know what I needed they deal with this all the time. So I send in my original receipts wait a week and call the gov. They need 5-8 business days after receiving the receipts to be able to process them, so now I need to get some meds refilled and I don't have the cash right now and I don't have coverage yet. And they can't tell me what is covered and what isn't. Like I need this frustration right now.

I can feel your frustration, dealing with a beauracratic level of organization. . . and you need your meds. Enough to make the most sane person a little nutty. It\'s frustrating that we live in such a wealthy country and do not have access to medical care to all. I don\'t get it. I read your entry and have one more reason to count my blessings today as I have really good insurance. I was thinking about that as I was falling asleep last night, \"Thank goodness I have insurance. What would I do without it?\" I have a lot of medical costs, but at least I\'m one of the lucky ones. Wish I could offer some advice or help, I can only send positive thoughts your way and hope that things work out very quickly for you.
