Off to see the respirologist tomorrow, more xrays another lung function test and then the decision about meds. If the lung function tests haven't improved the next option is cyclophosphimide....yippee! What to do? Been having some joint pain since I got the h1n1 shot last wednesday. My energy level has been a bit better, the puppies left yesterday.....happy and sad about that. It will be a lot less work with them gone but I am going to miss them. Jenn comes home on the 20th! we went to the HOG Christmas dinner it was fun seeing everyone. Still having some stomach issues i think it might be time to switch to nexium even though it isn't covered.

Oohh nexium is an expensive one. It\'s covered for me, but still costs $50. I couldn\'t live without it and be on the prednisone though. Sorry for the joint pain. Do you happen to know which shot you got? The label? I just love those lung function tests, not. I always get so dizzy and that stuff you have to take turns me purple. I freaked out when I went in the bathroom and saw myself. I looked like an alien or something. I wish you the best of luck. I know how hard all of this is and the decisions that we have to make. Just trust that you will make the best decision for you. That is all you can do and then give that decision your faith.
I didn\'t see the label, it was at a clinic and they were moving everyone thru. I didn\'t have to do the lung test with the inhaler, this is just the blow test which is bad enough always get a bad headache after. the results were not good ....no improvement, but it is not getting worse. My dr is amazeed that I am doing as well as I am with only half my lung capacity. But this also means I have to start cyclophosphimide next month....not looking forward to that. I have been on pariet for the stomach but it doesn\'t seem to be working anymore, so I will have to switch to nexium as soon as I can afford it....after Christmas...lol
