Dealing with loss ten years on

I couldn't sleep so I decided to write a little more of my book. All would be fine apart from I came to the point that I had to write about my baby girl and her death. Although I've come to terms with it, she would have been 8 this year, it's still hard for me to write about. I wrote with tears streaming down my face and I don't think I did her memory justice at all. I've sent it out to a few friends that have offered to read it for me and hopefully I'll get some feed back in the next few days on whether it is as bad as I think.Sometimes reliving the memories of my daughter makes me smile, remember how she looked, the way she smellt but today it's just saddened me. I never celebrated her anniversary this year as I was flying home from Florida. I feel bad for that. I know she doesn't care what day I visit her and knows that I was thinking about her on that day but something inside me feels guilty for carrying on my life without her.I've  been through so much therapy, I have come to terms with the death of my baby, but dealing with it on a day to day basis is hard. I thought that now ten years on I would be ok to think about her, talk about her and remember the few moments I had with her. Sadly it's not always that simple.
