Dealing with Hormonal Headaches...uggghhh!

Sorry I’ve been MIA lately. You all have been on my mind, but unfortunately, I have been dealing with awful migraines for the past several days. My RE seems to agree that I could likely be suffering from withdrawals of the high doses of estrace and progesterone I was taking during my recent FET.   The headaches started right after I stopped taking it when we got the official BFN (12/24). My RE referred me to my neurologist to deal with the headaches.   Before we started TTC, I had migraines on a regular basis; fortunately, I have not seen my neurologist in over 4 years (I believe my headaches were due, in large part, to BCP). He said hormonal headaches are quite common around the time of AF for a lot of women. He’s treating this as an “artificially induced” hormonal headache.   Since the hormones can stay in my system for 8-10 weeks, he’s trying to treat me with something that will not be long term, but can possibly cut the headaches off before they get so bad. The last drug, Frova, he tried did not provide much relief. So, to get me through the weekend, he gave me a 3-day round of steroids and a strong pain reliever.   If the headaches persist over the next few weeks, we’ll try something different. I like his approach because, during future IF treatments, I will likely have to go through this again. I'd like to find something to get it under control.   Anyone else had experience with headaches due to hormone withdrawals?  I hope to catch up with everyone soon! Hugs to you all....
