Dealing With Anxiety & Depression
I'm really having a difficult time with the depression and anxiety. The Wellbutrin I've been taking for the past few years doesn't seem to be working, but I keep taking it. I've always been an anxious person by nature. It's been really bad lately. It started in childhood. My dad was a very abusive man. He physically and verbally abused my mom and he was an alcoholic. Anyway, I pray I can get a handle on the anxiety and depression. I seem to get in panic mode so easily. I take Ativan for the anxiety and it does help calm me and helps me get a decent night sleep. I just want to feel better.

Have you asked your doctor about taking an SSRI anti-depressant. Some like paxil, effexor, lexapro are suppose to work well with GAD. I just started back on effexor because since being off my anxiety has gone through the roof. Wellbutrin isn\'t an SSRi so not sure how well it works for anxiety.
