dealing

Hi everyone, It's about midnight and I wanted to tell you that Steve is having a much better month on Sutent. He has not had all the problems he had last month. He will be on the last week of treatment starting on Sunday. He has complained about his feet hurting him but so far so good. He mowed the grass yesterday and ate a good supper. His taste is gone but he eats to keep his strength up. Steve is a big fellow, 6 feet and about 250 pounds. He has no thyroid because of the cancer so he takes synthroid to make up for that. Most people who take that seem to gain weight. We laughed a lot today, just kinda silly stuff, but it's wonderful to have an almost normal day. We went to see a doctor about possible sleep apnena.(?)  I think he stops breathing in his sleep. We set up a time for a sleep study to be done. When we walked up to the desk he asked the receptionist for a room with two beds, he told her he could not sleep without me!  I was a little startled and the girl looked at him and smiled and put us down for two beds!!!! whew looks like I will be going too!!!!!!!!!!   His sister laughed at him, why did I have to go?  He said if I didn't go he would not go. After thinking about it I guess it's kinda sweet, I'am sure THEY think it's silly. You all have been  my thoughts this week. I pray for strength and courage for all of you,  My love, Wanda
