DC adventure
Hi everyone,
I was feeling blah today so I took a ride into DC and checked out the holiday decorations. I figured they are coming down sometime this week. Though with the winter snowstorm coming I'm sure they will still be up this week.
I went to see the National Christmas tree, saw a tree inside the Smithsonian Castle, a small tree outside the entrance to their cafe, and I went to the Air and Space museum. There was a garden outside the castle with winter cabbage, purple and white, and winter pansies, too.

Hi Linda, we're very happy you enjoyed going out, visiting DC, and got to see many beautiful sights :) i love your pictures you took, from your visit to the city :) The national Christmas tree, air and space museum, the smithsonian, looks so nice, i love the Christmas tree with the national monument in the background :) absolutely incredible, how you live so close to DC :) it would be incredible to get to visit there :) You could be our tour guide :) Holly has been to DC years ago :)
it's very neat, they have a winter garden there :) i see some gifts under the national tree, i wonder if there's cool gifts inside the presents! :) very neat, and such a pure joy, all of the sights you got to see :)

It's really nice that you were able to go into D.C. when u were feeling bla to help you cheer you up. It looks like a lot of fun to go into D.C. I like all the pictures you posted. They r nice pictures & neat to see the pictures. I liked seeing the air craft pictures & the Christmas & nature pictures were nice too. It's really good you did this for yourself. I remember when I lived in Fairfax, Virginia as a teenager & I would go into D.C It's been a long time but its really neat to be able to do this & be able to see all the things in D.C.
