Days Like these

Today has been a rather good day for me.  I first did not have to work, yay me and my 4yr old was able to go to my in-laws for awhile so I got to have some ME TIME.
At first I felt guilty to have this time to myself, but as I was in the pool floating on the raft I starting talking to my DH as I do when I have the alone time.  I told him how much I missed him and how much he ment to me.  I know that he knew this but since the 3yrs he has been gone I really never got that part out as I only just had the pitty party part.  So I talked to him as though he was there and it felt good to get out my fears of the future and also about the possiblity of me dating again " which I am told him not right now".  I felt as those a wieght had been lifted from my mind and my heart.  It was so nice.
I still have my poor me days, but they are getting fewer.
Now for the best part of the day, to take my little one swimming and have some mommy and Aubrey time.

Sounds like a day like that is JUST what the doc ordered! I talk to Greg all the time. i ask him questions and sometimes think he is answering me!! and I\'m OK with that! i\'m at 17 months and now I can smile much more than cry at the memories and be thankful I have them so hopefully that is progress! sounds the same for you too. Being able to just talk to them I think is very normal and very important.

and swimming with a little sweetie is the icing on the days cake!

HUGS to both of you 11 diane
