Day four and feeling fine
I'm so glad I found this site last quit, it's really given me a jump ahead this go round! SO nice a lot of my old friends are still on-line encouraging quitters new and old. So proud many are looking at the one year mark. Love the new sub-groups as well. Plan to spend some time on Good Posts, when I can FIND time. If I would just get my computer hooked up and get the internet, I would have time in the evenings. Maybe I'll set that task for this weekend. Right after I take my last (and favorite) tiny little Christmas tree down. I don't know. Maybe it's 'cause it was the first Christmas since my sis. died, maybe it's 'cause I disappeared Christmas Day and headed to the mountains where my friend's tree was live (a good thing) but very sparsely decorated with (please excuse if this offends) redneck ornaments and she took it down two days later (only because I begged her not to take it down the NEXT day). My little tree is so tasteful with all glass ornaments and glass angel wings as the topper. Red and green lights. Very sweet. I went to take it down Sunday, and just couldn't. I even had all the boxes down to put the ornaments in. They're still sitting by my chair waiting. It's definitely time, though. I feel it. I didn't even plug it in last night. Time to move on. Speaking of that, doing much better exercising. It's like my body craves it now, and is so stiff if I don't. Little too chilly to walk, so last night my walking buddy came over and we did a Susan Sasson (sp???) walk, kick video. My friend's pedometer showed close to 3 miles after, and then we Wii'd. Oh, yeah, that was my Christmas present to myself, and I love it. I am a champion at Wii boxing. All KO's and no defeats so far! Drives my friend Mike crazy which I love! (We're quite competitive with each other.) A bit concerned about the weekend, but lately I've been working at the restaurant (my friends are converting an old building downtown) doing all sorts of things: painting, sheet rock mudding and floating (not good on the old back, but I have a real talent for it), rag painting, pulling nails out of scrap lumber, sawing boards, etc. Got the Wii which is bringing my city friends out to the country finally. So lots to keep me busy. Also, dryer still broken, so I HAVE to do laundry somewhere.....
