day eight hundred and seventy

so the day for my first rheumatologist appoint with the new doctor, first rheumy appointment since september of 2013, and they cancelled because we had a storm and the office lost power. i've called to reschedule and left a message and they haven't gotten back to me.
i had flu last weekend, which was great let me tell you (ugh). but my pain levels are pretty high. I'm working to take better care of myself and started weight watchers a few weeks ago. starting next week (once i'm really over this flu) i'm planning on starting yoga a couple of nights a week. it's hard to find time right now because there's a lot going on between work, life, school, and getting ready to move. 
a couple of weeks before my dad died, my brother's wife walked out on him - less than one month before their first wedding anniversary. my brother can't afford their apartment on his own, we were planning on using money from my dad to buy a house, so things just happened. we found a house with an accessory apartment that my brother will live in. 
i'm just feeling all over the place. my body aches a lot, my heart still aches a lot, and i'd rather just sleep for a few more days.
