day eight
second dose of mtx down. my urine was ridiculously bright this morning... probably all the vitamins but i'll keep an eye on it. no other symptoms of liver/kidney issues at this time.
i'm having some trouble with family. well, my dad. i've been working for him two days a week to help out (his assistant quit a few months ago). i told him about my dx and the drugs and the side effects and he just doesn't seem to get it. i just called him to let him know i'll be in tomorrow and that i have to drive into the city on friday anyway (my bro and his fiancee need a ride to the airport) so i'll come in for a few hours if he can use me. he was like, yes, and wednesday and thursday too. kind of joking, but still.
it's a two hour commute each way. i only work for 6 or 7 hours. he pays me well, but with the fatigue now, i'm not sure how comfortable i am in the car for that long. last tuesday the ride home was horrible - accidents held me up and made the commute closer to 2.5 hours. and during the last hour i was blasting the A/C and the radio to keep myself awake. i told him i couldn't come in on wednesday and he didn't understand why.
truth be told, i could use the money until my new job starts (should just be a couple more weeks for fingerprinting to come back). just not sure how good of an idea it is.
i was feeling pretty solid this morning, so i cleaned the kitchen and organized the pantry. and cleaned the toaster oven (i set a slice of pizza on fire last week... so it needed it). if last week is any indicator, i should feel pretty good tomorrow, then wednesday and thursday will mostly suck. i'm not sure if it's the mtx taking that long to really hit me, or if working all day tuesday knocks me out that much. it's a new learning curve for me.

thanks sally :) i wasn\'t told if i was mild, mod, or severe. the ultrasound and doppler are really what helped my rheumy dx me, and she said it helped her decide how aggressive to be in my treatment. i was given my rx\'s the day after my dx, and then i really started researching because up until then, i wasn\'t sure it was ra. thanks :)
