Day by day
Wake up each morning wondering what the day will bring. The days since starting Mepron have brought with them all the old symptoms I thought were behind me. Even ones that I had years ago, those that I forgot about. Disturbing memories, when I had no idea what was wrong with me. Just drawn out days telling myself that this is what I am going to have to accept because I am Bi-polar. Now I am finding that in all this has been a small miracle. I have an answer and hope to many of the ills. Ills for to long were disturbing and unacceptable. A very long story. Down deep I knew there was something going on with my body. Unfortunately much of that time was spent too far gone for rational thought. My pdoc changed my treatment plan. As of today, Axis 3 reads explains that my Axis 1 symptoms were caused by an underlying medical illness. Lymes Disease and the co-infection Babesia. I also had some blood work that showed that I have been exposed to Bartonella. Two co-infections. A new beginning. Accepting the inevitable. Here we go!

I keep hoping I will come here to find you feeling well. I know it will happen soon. Until then I keep good thoughts of you.
Hi HonestGuy,
It has been a while since I have written or responded here. Been fighting a very similar battle of my own. I am very pleased that you were able to get the Mepron, I had to do 12 weeks worth and it worked well for me. During that time I was removed from all my other meds (Paxil and Effexor). That was VERY unpleasant, but well worth it. A new kind of hell, and it went away. The Bi-polar/anxiety/panic disorder diagnosis also reads due to an underlying condition. I am happy to say the symptoms don\'t play too much of a role anymore. Every once in a while I have some challenges, and they go away. It is quite a ride, and it helps to know that it will end! Hugs and keep well.
