Day Away

So Day 3 and 4 over and didn't do so well.  He got to see his girlfriend on Friday and turned back into my sweet little boy.  He smiled and made jokes and hugged me.  Sigh.  He asked if we could go get something from the deli and I hesitated but said yes if he would make sure to get all his regular chores done today.  He said he would.  Didn't even fuss at me when I made him a list so he would remember what they all are as he hasn't done most of them in so so long.
I did not do his laundry.  I guess that was good.  And last night when he asked to stay late at an event and I told him no cause we were out of money and he said he'd go and drink water  I held my ground and refused to take him.
I also didn't get his girlfriend for yesterday and her dad wasn't there so she could have come.   So I guess I have refused to do a few things.
Headed off on a day trip to gamble with my son and his wife.  Youngest not 21 so can't go.  Trying not to feel guilty about it, but then again he doesn't seem upset.  Falling back into the trap of really caring what he thinks.  Sigh.
