day after port placement

I had a beautiful breast reduction a couple years ago. And now I have an ugly chest port.
As much as I like vampires, I never wanted a catheter into my jugular. It's just not as sexy as a vampire bite.
I once saw a story of a woman with a double mastectomy who had beautiful tatoos put on her chest afterward. Maybe when the chest port comes out, I'll get a tatoo. I never wanted one before but now I can see how it might be useful.
